Creating positive opportunities for children and young people

Parker Trust is a charity based in Pallion in Sunderland. We provide advice, assistance and organise programmes of physical, educational, social and other activities.
Our mission is to help them to develop skills, advance in education and relieve unemployment ultimately to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals

Strong
Partnerships

Through partnering with a number of organisations, and through funding opportunities; we are able to provide and deliver a number of projects to our young people throughout the year including Holiday Clubs, Life skill projects, Training & Education, Community Seasonal Events, and more.

Education &
Training

At Parker Trust we are proud of our personal development programmes devised for young people including to help them gain confidence, respect people / different cultures, and advocate anti-bullying. We also provide many workshops including cooking, up-cycling, DJ’ing, drama, Spanish courses and more.

Supporting Mental
Health

Through many of our initiatives Parker Trust supports and educates young people about mental health. Wellbeinginfo.org has been designed to keep your mind and body healthy and offers lots of information about how to take care of yourself. There are self-help tips and a directory of support services that are available.
